Wake Up Early and Exercise Before Work with RARP-ID’s Portable Home Gym

If you are trying to be more active but find it hard to fit exercise into your busy schedule? You’re not alone — Studies show lack of time is one of the biggest barriers to physical activity for working adults. However, starting your day with a morning workout can provide a great energy boost, reduce stress, and help you stay consistent with your fitness routine.

In this blog post, I will provide some tips for waking up early to exercise before work using RARP-ID’s innovative aerobic step and portable resistance band home gym. With our patented resistance aerobic step that doubles as a anchor and travel backpack, you can get a full-body workout anytime, anywhere!

1. Start your day earlier

It may seem obvious, but if you want to exercise in the morning you need to wake up earlier. If you can, you should try going to bed earlier and waking up 60–90 minutes earlier than your current routine to leave enough time for your workout. “Getting intentional about your morning routine is key. Don’t do this every day to start, as it’ll you’ll soon hate it, build up to the numbers of days you want to workout and once you get in the habit of waking up early to exercise, it will become easier over time.”

2. Prepare the night before

Set yourself up for success by prepping everything you need for your morning workout the night before. Lay out your equipment, resistance bands and aerobic step, workout clothes, water bottle, etc. (hopefully RARP-ID’s) So when that early alarm goes off, you can start moving right away without delay.

3. Schedule a workout buddy

Having someone to hold you accountable can provide extra motivation. See if a friend, family member or co-worker wants to join your morning exercise routine. You can take turns hosting the workout at each other’s homes using the portable RARP-ID equipment or even over Zoom or Skype (does that exist???). As some fitness experts say, “It’s easier to skip a workout when you’re only accountable to yourself.”

4. Start your day with movement

Instead of heading straight to the kitchen for coffee, begin your morning with a workout. I personally find “ I have much more energy and focus when I exercise first thing. It’s a natural way to wake up without relying on caffeine.” Just make sure you are hydrated before you start.

The RARP-ID resistance band set allows full body training — you can start with a low-impact aerobic routine using the step, then progress to strength training with the handles and bar. Plus a HIIT at the end, for that extra cardio.

5. Follow a plan

Having a workout program to follow helps eliminate decision fatigue first thing in the morning. There are plenty of full workout guides and tutorial videos optimised for using our resistance bands and aerobic steps. Its all bout finding the one that suits you and you find fun.

6. Focus on nutrition

What you eat (and drink) can impact your energy levels and ability to wake up early. Stay hydrated and have a nutrient-dense snack like a banana with almond (personal favourite) or peanut butter lined up for after your workout to refuel. Avoid heavy foods that can weigh you down in the morning.

7. Build the habit

Waking up early to exercise before work takes consistency. It may feel difficult at first, but stick with it for 2–3 weeks and it will start to become a natural part of your routine that you look forward to. Remind yourself of the physical and mental benefits to stay motivated. Plus if you have kinds, it means more time with them in the evenings.

With RARP-ID’s innovative portable resistance band home gym including the aerobic step, getting an effective full-body workout in before work is easier than ever. It means no more wasting time and money commuting to the gym — the compact, affordable equipment lets you exercise on your schedule from the comfort of home.

By following these tips from my experience, you can build a sustainable morning exercise habit using RARP-ID’s versatile resistance band set and aerobic step. Wake up early, move your body, and start your day feeling energized!
