One step.
Sixteen anchors.

The RARP-ID Step + Band Kit is an aerobic step with anchor feet built into its base, plus 10 latex bands, carabiner grips and a two-piece bar. Rows, presses, curls and flyes without a door anchor, a wall or a rack.

Launching on Kickstarter in February 2027.

RARP-ID step with a red resistance band looped through a slot in the anchor foot

Anchors where you need them

Each foot clips under the step and has 8 open-ended slots along its base, so you get 16 in total. Loop a band into a slot and it can come back out on the same side, so you're not stuck passing it under the step from one side to the other.

Move the band slot to slot to change the angle. Pick a slot further in to shorten it and add resistance.

Any standard band works: loops, flat therapy bands, tubes, or bands with handles and carabiners.

Already own a Reebok step? The anchor feet fit it. We're planning a feet-only option for the campaign.

Prototype shown. The production version may differ in colour and finish.

Why I built it

Most steps give you nowhere to anchor a band. Most band kits give you nowhere to anchor them either. I got tired of buying two things that don't work together, so I designed feet that do.

Five working prototypes later, it's ready to be made properly. Kickstarter is how we'll pay for the moulds and the first production run.

Questions

When does it launch?

On Kickstarter in February 2027. Everyone on the list gets an email before it goes live.

How much will it cost?

We expect the full kit to be £199. A limited number of early-bird kits will be offered at a lower price on Kickstarter, and the list hears about them first.

When will it ship?

We'll publish an estimated delivery date on the Kickstarter page once production is confirmed. Kickstarter is all-or-nothing: if the goal isn't reached, nobody is charged.

Has it been tested?

Personal trainers have been using the prototypes in their sessions, and you can watch them on our Training Hub. Formal load and band testing is being arranged, and we'll publish the results before the campaign starts.

Can I use my own bands?

Yes. The slots take any standard resistance band.

Are the bands latex?

Yes. They aren't suitable if you have a latex allergy.

No fluff. Just ripped.
