How Wrist Wraps Help
Under heavy load, the wrist joint is vulnerable to hyperextension — particularly during pressing movements where the bar loads directly down through the joint. Wrist wraps stabilise this position by providing rigid lateral and anterior support, reducing the moment arm acting on the joint.
